As a co-founder of Mala Junta, TOOL’s assiduous efforts to politicise nightlife and re-contextualise trance within the queer underground has led to multiple collaborations with Berghain, as well as activist DIY collectives worldwide. From the studio to the floor, every ingredient of his output emanates an energy that’s irrefutably TOOL.
DYEN appeared out of nowhere in 2017 and has since then molded a niched space for himself. Born and raised in Rotterdam, it’s fair to say that Holland’s number one rave city has had huge impact on the young producer. He reshapes and interprets the past into something hyper modern, individualistic and raw that he calls “neorave” or “old school hard techno”; relentless punching kicks fighting for space with aggressive stabbing trancey synths; giving way on the dancefloor for something new and distinctive.
Darren Abela, who plays under the alias of Echofaze, is a Maltese DJ and producer who has been DJing in clubs in Malta and Berlin for over 20 years. A pioneer in the local scene, his love for Techno, Groove and Hardgroove has seen him signed up as a resident at one of southern Europe’s most prestigious Techno festivals, Glitch. He’s also graced the decks in some of the most infamous clubs in Berlin, including Tresor and RSO. Echofaze also excels as a producer, mainly releasing hardgroove titles that have been becoming ever more popular with his peers. Manthrax is best known for his energetic, Detroit Techno tinged Dj sets and is a mainstay in most large techno events in Malta, having played along side the likes of Marcel Dettmann, Oscar Mulero, Neil Landstrumm, Laurent Garnier, Steve Rachmad. Chris is a mainstay at Glitch Festival, having played at every edition. It is by no coincidence that we consider him a resident.

Pablo Bozzi’s musical journey begins at the age of 6 during his «classical» training years, he then shapes his harpsichord practice for almost ten years at the National Conserva- tory of Toulouse.
After finishing his degree in Sound Design in Montpellier in 2018, he moves to Berlin to advance his musical career, through his project Imperial Black Unit with Templer, he gains recognition in the scene, after a series of releases on respected labels and a Boiler Room in the famous KHIDI club in Tbilisi.
His passion for Italo Disco, Synthwave and the sonic and aesthetic landscape of the
80’s led him to release a solo EP «Walk On Wire» on the Berghain resident’s label, Phase Fatale. This EP marks the beginning of his will to reinterpret these genres with a modern touch.

Keith Farrugia, the force behind Sound Synthesis, is a sound designer, producer, and founder of Wave Function Records, a vinyl label based in Malta. He co-runs Orbital Mechanics and also runs diverse projects like Nonlinear Rhythms and Submersive Underground, pushing the boundaries of electronic music.
Neil Hales, known as Acidulant, is a devoted acid music enthusiast even though he is considered an acid freak, Neil’s passion revolves around synthesizers and the experimentation in different genres and electronic sounds. Parallel to his notable acid tracks, he has also collaborated with local visual artists, dancers, and actors under his alias Collateral Intelligence.
Both are also the co-founders of Electronic Music Malta (EMM), which is the first non-profit organisation promoting electronic music in all of its forms in the Maltese islands. Together, they channel their shared passion for electronica into a sound that pays homage to their roots while exploring new sonic paths.

Based in Berlin, Daria has played some of the world’s most renowned institutions, with frequent bookings at Berghain, Bassiani, Fabric, and London’s Fold.
Pablo Bozzi’s musical journey begins at the age of 6 during his «classical» training years, he then shapes his harpsichord practice for almost ten years at the National Conserva- tory of Toulouse.
After finishing his degree in Sound Design in Montpellier in 2018, he moves to Berlin to advance his musical career, through his project Imperial Black Unit with Templer, he gains recognition in the scene, after a series of releases on respected labels and a Boiler Room in the famous KHIDI club in Tbilisi.
His passion for Italo Disco, Synthwave and the sonic and aesthetic landscape of the
80’s led him to release a solo EP «Walk On Wire» on the Berghain resident’s label, Phase Fatale. This EP marks the beginning of his will to reinterpret these genres with a modern touch.
Shortly after this release, Bozzi and Phase Fatale joined forces to create their duo Soft Crash, describing this music as «Italo Body Music». Throughout this unprecedented period, he has been busy honing his sound through several releases and remixes, including the «Last Moscow Mule» EP released on Jennifer Cardini’s label, Dischi Autunno, as well as his Second Sight residency on Berlin’s streaming platform HÖR.

DJ TOOL’s quicksilver sound is as intrepidly propulsive as it is indebted to the old school. Isochronously authentic and assertive, his sets traverse percolating trance, frenetic techno and seductive psychedelia across an encyclopaedic back-catalogue of clandestine classics. As a co-founder of Mala Junta, TOOL’s assiduous efforts to politicise nightlife and re-contextualise trance within the queer underground has led to multiple collaborations with Berghain, as well as activist DIY collectives worldwide. From the studio to the floor, every ingredient of his output emanates an energy that’s irrefutably TOOL.
DYEN appeared out of nowhere in 2017 and has since then molded a niched space for himself. Born and raised in Rotterdam, it’s fair to say that Holland’s number one rave city has had huge impact on the young producer. He reshapes and interprets the past into something hyper modern, individualistic and raw that he calls “neorave” or “old school hard techno”; relentless punching kicks fighting for space with aggressive stabbing trancey synths; giving way on the dancefloor for something new and distinctive.
Darren Abela, who plays under the alias of Echofaze, is a Maltese DJ and producer who has been DJing in clubs in Malta and Berlin for over 20 years. A pioneer in the local scene, his love for Techno, Groove and Hardgroove has seen him signed up as a resident at one of southern Europe’s most prestigious Techno festivals, Glitch. He’s also graced the decks in some of the most infamous clubs in Berlin, including Tresor and RSO. Echofaze also excels as a producer, mainly releasing hardgroove titles that have been becoming ever more popular with his peers. He’s currently releasing titles on many major labels, including Subsist, Synergie and Xelima.
Georg’s movement through Malta’s underground scene marks the rise of a dedicated and versatile DJ. His sound seamlessly fuses influences from diverse sub-genres of electronic music, unified by a signature groove that thrives in dark rooms and extended sessions. Whether at peak-time or during after-hours, Georg’s identity is defined by a deep musical commitment that places the listener at its core.
London- based producer and DJ Effy grew up in the North West of England listening to the high energy sounds of artists like The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy. Effy was named as one of Pete Tong’s Rising Stars and has attained blanket support on BBC Radio 1 & Radio 6 with Mary Anne Hobbs. Chris has been one of the main figures in Malta’s underground techno scene since 2005. His now legendary Disorder night is also one of the Island’s longest running and most consistent parties that has hosted a long list of top international djs and live performers over a 19 year period. Manthrax is best known for his energetic, Detroit Techno tinged Dj sets and is a mainstay in most large techno events in Malta, having played along side the likes of Marcel Dettmann, Oscar Mulero, Neil Landstrumm, Laurent Garnier, Steve Rachmad. Chris is a mainstay at Glitch Festival, having played at every edition. It is by no coincidence that we consider him a resident.
Maruwa channels forceful energy, effortlessly blending trance, progressive house, hard-house, and techno in her own productions and on dance-floors worldwide. Her signature sound combines the nostalgic elements of the '90s and early 2000s, enriched with a modern twist.
Miss Bashful x DBBD is the most interesting duo coming out of Berlin in recent times. Hard-hitting and sexy booty grooves that are led by Miss Bashful's vocals, paired with signature DBBD productions, are becoming a mainstay around the block, all fused together with a playful and eclectic approach to their joint stimulating Y2K aesthetics.

Pablo Bozzi’s musical journey begins at the age of 6 during his «classical» training years, he then shapes his harpsichord practice for almost ten years at the National Conserva- tory of Toulouse.
After finishing his degree in Sound Design in Montpellier in 2018, he moves to Berlin to advance his musical career, through his project Imperial Black Unit with Templer, he gains recognition in the scene, after a series of releases on respected labels and a Boiler Room in the famous KHIDI club in Tbilisi.
His passion for Italo Disco, Synthwave and the sonic and aesthetic landscape of the
80’s led him to release a solo EP «Walk On Wire» on the Berghain resident’s label, Phase Fatale. This EP marks the beginning of his will to reinterpret these genres with a modern touch.
Shortly after this release, Bozzi and Phase Fatale joined forces to create their duo Soft Crash, describing this music as «Italo Body Music». Throughout this unprecedented period, he has been busy honing his sound through several releases and remixes, including the «Last Moscow Mule» EP released on Jennifer Cardini’s label, Dischi Autunno, as well as his Second Sight residency on Berlin’s streaming platform HÖR.

Sound Synthesis and Acidulant are two artists emerging from the roots of Malta's underground electronic scene. The pair first connected in a garage where friends gathered to listen to records from influential labels like Warp, Rephlex, Planet Mu, UR, and R&S.
Keith Farrugia, the force behind Sound Synthesis, is a sound designer, producer, and founder of Wave Function Records, a vinyl label based in Malta. He co-runs Orbital Mechanics and also runs diverse projects like Nonlinear Rhythms and Submersive Underground, pushing the boundaries of electronic music.
Neil Hales, known as Acidulant, is a devoted acid music enthusiast even though he is considered an acid freak, Neil’s passion revolves around synthesizers and the experimentation in different genres and electronic sounds. Tasha first made her name as a DJ in the drum & bass community, with early support from DJ Flight on BBC 1Xtra. After DJ Storm made her resident at her Feline night, she became a firm part of the community, going onto play regularly at Renegade Hardware and across Europe. A dedicated head to the core, her exploratory experiences raving at London’s techno nights, being behind the counter, selling records at BM Soho and listening to more techno started to make their way into her sets and radio shows when she started out with her residency on Rinse FM in 2009.
